Fire Service has targeted the elderly in an attempt to promote visits home security and prevent further tragedies.
FIRE Fighter asked vulnerable seniors to seek counseling after a series of house fires killed three women.
An elderly woman died in a fire at his home in Cowcaddens, Glasgow, on Saturday, and another fire took the life of a woman in Southside of the city on Monday.
A third woman has died in a house fire in Inverness on Tuesday.
Announcing a new national awareness campaign, Lewis Ramsay, the director of fire prevention Scot and Rescue Service, said: "We all need to do our utmost to prevent tragedies like this from occurring.
"We all know that older people who are at risk. Could be a grandmother, aunt, friend or neighbor.
"Today I am asking Scotland to think about these people. If you, or someone you know is at risk of fire, call us now."
A new TV advert which will be broadcast includes the account of a firefighter of a fatal fire involving an elderly woman who lived alone.
In the ad, watch commander Scott Davidson says: "A call for a visit fire safety in the home could have saved the life of this old lady."
Mr Ramsay said. "Our firefighters will visit someone at risk of fire at a time that suits you, day or night We'll help ensure that your home is as safe as possible, get support from partners such as health or housing if there is a need, and install smoke detectors free of charge if necessary.
"But we need you to contact us. Tell us about someone at risk before it is too late."
