Officials appeal for witnesses after man is knocked down by police car in the street striking Elgin

The victim, who is thought to be in her 20s was taken to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin after the accident at 6:15 a.m., however, the extent of his injuries is not yet known.



A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being hit by a marked police car.


The man, considered in his 20s, was hit by a vehicle in Pinefield Crescent, Elgin, around 6:15 a.m..

He was taken to Dr Gray's Hospital in the city to be treated. The extent of his injuries is not yet known, police said.

Officers have appealed for witnesses and the road will remain closed for some time.
