One person died and others were injured in a three car accident.


The incident happened at 03:35 on the A697 near the Scottish Borders Houndslow.

A police spokesman said: "One person died and a number of persons injured in the collision of three vehicles that took place around 15:35 today."

Road diversions were put in place for several hours while emergency services attended the scene.
